sugarskull
OK so I dont know anything about mods so far it hasnt been too bad forums are nice when i'm stuck on what to do. I havent made any I just want to play the game with them. So my problem is that if i talk to an npc and then exit out of communication with them everything is fine, but when i go to talk to them again the game crashes and im back to my desktop. :wallbash: also the npc's dont have eyes no biggie but annoying none the less. any suggestions? Sounds like mod conflicting. The eyes i use to get when two body meshes were fighting for the same resources. Ie exenem and ren's i think it was for me. Been awhile on that front. Not sure about the speech thing. I suggest get Oblivion mod manager (OMM) it is rather useful in situations like this. Elsewise you have to turn off all mods then start them one at a time in order to weed out the conflict.
sugarskull
definately mod conflict I have obmm i have beuatiful people and rens maybe if i turn one off that'll get rid of the eye sit. still dont know what to do about the interaction with npc. if i interact with an npc its only once. it started with the owner of the inn in market district and i thought it was odd so i tried other npc shop owners. hmm thought id ask before going through the tedious task of checking every mod again. i did a conflict report but as i understand it the "red" major conflicts arent necissarily a bad thing. I dont know enough about whats what to tell which is detrimental. :(
bben46
Try fixing one problem at a time. Maybe fixing the eyes will have some effect on the other problem as well. If not, I would suspect another mod conflict. Some quest mods change what NPCs can say. look for multiple mods that do this and try disabling them for troubleshooting. Make a save first so you can come back to that point in your game. Then when you find the culprit. try changing its location in the load order to see if that helps.
