Greywolf221 Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Last night I installed the FNIS mod manually without the mod manager but I didn't know it required micro management. I.E. opening and loading files into it etc. I just plugged it in like all the other mods. actors to actors, mesh to mesh etc etc. My game then has mannequinesk people so I uninstall skyrim and delete ALL my mods then reinstall it twice. (The only esp, bsm, esm files left are dawnguard, hearthfire, and dragonborn) But its still the same. I then go to program files and steamapps and remove anything that was left over from steam mods or nexus mods that i can find/remember. I even bought a new skyrim from steam -.- I know there has to be a fix, maybe dl'ing a simple animation mod or something like that, that replaces the models i may have deleted or that FNIS is trying to snag. If you can help me with this I'd really appreciate it. Because as I said I was stupid and bought another skyrim so I'm already down 50bucks in this whole mess...
prod80 Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Read the FNIS page.... the author didn't write half a book of instructions on it because he thinks it's funny to keep people busy reading 20 minutes of their lives. There's pretty clear instructions on them how to install, how to use FNIS, and how to uninstall. Reinstalling the game is not gonna fix it unless you completely remove the Skyrim installation folder.
Greywolf221 Posted August 1, 2013 Author Posted August 1, 2013 (edited) Fixed it ^^ just had to remove all files and reinstall. Edited August 1, 2013 by Greywolf221
kurosakidude Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Pretty sure if you ran the GenerateFNIS for users tool in the Data folder of your Skyrim folder after installing any combination of new animation mods then it would work lol.
