anarion9
Are you interested in new quest content that fits into the existing Fallout 3 world? Please comment. (if so, check out "The Secret of the Mole Rat Maze" - completed and "The Refuge" - in development.)http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4181 and http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2937 Background:When I think about starting another character and going through a slow levelling mod, I really get excited about the idea of playing through new quests in the existing DC wasteland. My goal is to create several quest lines that allow the player to seemlessly augment their game experience without breaking anything that already functions in game. The best example that I can think for this was OOO in Oblivion where the added quest lines just enhanced the existing games. If this is interesting to you, please check out the above mods and let me know what you think. The mole rat maze quest is a relatively quick dungeon romp with some fun not-overpowered items that is near Megaton. The Refuge is a 7 quest line saga in which you become involved in helping a group of people who are hiding from a gang of raiders called the Bloody Reavers. Many of the quests in this series encourage you to explore some of the amazing terrain already in game that some may not have seen in regular play. The quests are often tougher than normal fallout 3 quests but they also will often have side quests that help you to solve it through other means. The NPCs and creatures are also designed to level significantly harder than in the vanilla since much of the game becomes too easy at lvl 20. I found that I just pranced around turning everything to goo with my named plasma rifle or worse, the alien blaster (the raiders in "The Refuge" have armor that is resistant to these weapons, haha). So, I guess, in conclusion, if this is interesting to you, please check it out. Help critique it and rate it well so more people will hear about it and get excited about it. My goal is to get to the top 50 list but it seems like you need all 10s to get there. Thanks.-Anarion9
Callighan
You'd better link this post to your mods for easier reference. :) Good luck in getting to top 50. I can already see there's quite some enthusiasm over The Secret of The Mole Rat Maze. I think it's quite a good idea as Fallout 2 has a few rat infested dungeons climaxing in a big pig rat encounter. But..While I think your mod is a well made mod, the mole rat content is just not my cup of tea for the time being. I might check it out in the future though. The Refuge, however, is interesting. SaintJames420
I dig the mole rat Idea...in process of downloading now. But will the refuge be compatible with MMM and F.O.O.K?
anarion9
I dig the mole rat Idea...in process of downloading now. But will the refuge be compatible with MMM and F.O.O.K?I haven't tested them yet but I suspect they should be fine together. If they aren't I will fix mine to make them compatible since I imagine that a lot of people will be using those (including me).
