eviljim
my character runs around in common clothes with a shortblade and bow. i try to keep it light so i have plenty of room to carry stuff that i pilfer ^_^ . i only keep the short sword around in case something gets past my barrage of arrows  the light load combined with my high agility/strength/endurance gets me a thief that can run and jump around like spiderman :P

Madcap_Magician
I like light armor best, but a lot of the other armors are cool looking. That counts for a lot by the time my character is high level. I like the Indoril Armor, and Her Hand's armor is amazing. My favorites are Indoril, Glass, Ebony, Royal Guard, and Dark Brotherhood. They just look cool. ^_^
edstamos1
light armor is best in the early game. you really can't afford enchanments, and it sucks carrying around all the weight of heavy armor. a decent light armor skill coupled with chitin armor is an affordable way to equip you character for the first stage of the game. after a while, if you want to build up your heavy armor skill, make sure you have the strength to carry the full suit and any potions you need. then go let the baddies kick the fecal matter out of you. medium armor doesn't, to my knowledge, have uber armor to compete with those of light and heavy. however, indoril armor and orcish armor look cool x)that's not to say you couldn't use medium armor through the end-game. i'm sure with a medium armor skill of 100, a set of orcish or other medium armor - enchanted with appropriate spells - you could easily survive long enough to clobber any enemy. it does depend on your play-style though. i wouldn't wear heavy armor on my wizard unless i had it enchanted with +strength or feather (actually, i wouldn't even then, since my HA skill is at 5 i think...) nor on a thief (since i've got the sneak modifiers for wearing armor)
Morrowind_Master
I like Indorial armor, because it has a good protection and it is not heavy to wear. :stupid:
Morrowind_Master
if you talk about light armor, I schall say: only glass armor is good. :stupid:
Oz02
you cant find a normal daedric cuirass or greaves or they're rigged BADLY. those two items have feather constant effects on them by 70%. i like unarmored. HAHAHA no more using that stupid armor that breaks soon. unarmored armor is armor that is indestructable. HAHAHA
