AndyPandyW
Hi, first off I just read all of my messge and I thought to myself... thats gonna take a while for someone to do, so, I would REALLY appreciate it if someone could make my dream armor a reality, but if someone could just do a little modding for me in the mean time, by splitting the Heavy Raiment Of Valor into seperate armor pieces (for the purpose of enchanting) , and re-texturing it to fit in well with the Palace Guard helm/shield etc... if possible, making more of the material look like metal, it would also be really appriciated! Anyway, thats what I wanted to say just incase you can't be bothered to read the rest! So here's the messge: ----------------------------------------------------- Hi all, this is not a mod idea it is a request for a set of armor that I have been desperatly wanting for my warrior. I am not just all take no give I made the Meadow Hall mod (which I admit was simple and crap cus I can't do all this technical stuff.... but it was a nice house! :P) and I am currently making an Outlaw Camp (treehouse/campsite base for robin hood syle characters) that is much better imo. Basicaly, I have my character and I want him to have a very specific look. He wants to wear Heavy armor, preferably nice shiny steel with gold detailing like the Palace Guards armor, but I don't want to look so "overkill" on the armor front, for example, these pieces of armor would make up a pretty good set for me: http://music.thebrothers.us/wp-content/upl...roman_chest.jpgFor the upper body slot, just this metal armor, all arms showing and everything. The muscular shape of the armor is important to me as I think it makes it look so much better. Some "skirting" around the bottom exactly like the stuff that comes with the Heavy Raiment Of Valor would cover our private regions! http://www.westcoastarmory.com/images/corinthian1ss.jpgThis sort of helm style, possibly with a red horsehair ridge might look a bit better. To be honest the Imperial Palace Guard helm would do fine but I dunno without seing it with whatever this armor would look like when it's finnished and I would prefere my armor to be unique (NOT THAT I'M PICKY OR ANYTHING :P). Best thing would be a Horsehair version and a non-horsehair version so we can choose :). http://www.realmcollections.com/images/p/3..._M8805_7409.jpgBracers like these instead of gloves would be very cool, but obviously in the same steel/gold detailing color scheme as the rest of the armor. http://www.realmcollections.com/images/p/3..._M8006_7408.jpgGreaves like these would be nice, but again, in the right color scheme. http://www.mardigrascostumeshop.com/store/...p;image_id=4903Armored boots probably wouldn't fit the scheme properly so maybe some leather strap sandals like these would look right with the Greaves. The Imperial Palace shield is actualy pretty much perfect for the shield, although it would look more my style without the spike. http://webzoom.freewebs.com/norstar1/hk1448-290_psd.jpgThe sword in this image represents the shape of the blade (note the curve) and hilt that would be perfect for me, however, look at the blade, and stretch it out to the length of a longsword and that would be about perfect for me as I like the reach of the longswords in oblivion. The color difference on that image could actualy be pretty cool if the black was actualy gold to fit in with the color of the armor... but it could be just a plain steel blade.... Custom sheath would be nice too... but stop me if i'm being too demanding! So yeh, there it is, obviously it would be all your work so I would understand if you wanted to make changes to my idea but I would REALY appreciate it if it was as close to those example pics as possible. Please anyone that thinks they can do this well, reply here and let me know how it goes and let me know when it's finnished so I can thank you many times and start using it right away. I can use the editor to create items so if you just sent me the meshes folder and the textures folder i'd know how to get them into the game. P.s. just thought, a thin red cape might be nice too like the Thin Red Cape from the Capes And Clocks mod if the author would let you modify one slightly to make it fasten at the front with a broach instead of the (rather horrible looking in my honest oppinion) squared off front. And if you wanted to REALY make it complete, a nice thin, light weight quiver mesh that wouldn't look so "chunky" against such fine armor. Please get back to me here if you can do any of this :) i'm excited just at the thought of possibly having this armor some day!
