DeltaWulf
I just cleared out my Skyrim folder and reinstalled all of my mods to begin a fresh playthrough, with some additional stuff, and now every time I try to launch the Dual Sheath Redux Patcher I get an error that says:"Could not find the main class:DualSheathReduxPatch.DualSheathReduxPatch. Program will exit."That's as far as it gets, it happens immediately as soon as I attempt to run the .jar. This has never happened before and I've about given up on trying to get the stupid thing to work, because it's gotten increasingly dysfunctional the longer I've tried to use it. It started off working completely fine, then becoming buggy with 100% BOSS scans, now won't even open. Anyone have any ideas?
DeltaWulf
Nevermind, I managed to fix that part by simply uninstalling and reinstalling java itself. But, now I'm running into the stupid "missing masters" issue again where it's reporting back errors saying that some of my .esp files are missing masters, which they're NOT. The only way I can get past this is by disabling those .esp files, and then sometimes that doesn't even work because it decides it just doesn't like the way they look I guess. So, it's pretty much impossible to run the SkyProc patcher all the way through thanks to it being totally broken.
prod80
I dunno the patcher, but perhaps the writer of that specific patcher can shed some light on it?
DeltaWulf
Fixing the (files\tmp.esp (The system cannot find the path specified) Dual Sheath Redux Patcher error:I managed to fix it by using the command prompt. It's a permissions issues that cannot be bypassed right-click run as admin, since for whatever reason windows won't allow you to do that with .jar files and they seem to be unaffected by editing folder permissions.Step-by-step:1. Open command prompt as administrator (right-click, run as administrator).2. Type this into the command prompt exactly: CD /d C:\*86*\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\SkyProc Patchers\Dual Sheath Redux Patch3. That should have changed your current command prompt directory to the .jar file's directory. Now simply type: java -jar "Dual Sheath Redux Patch.jar"4. Press enter and you should get the usual Dual Sheath Redux Patcher opening up and things will proceed as normal. If for some reason the patcher doesn't finish properly and you get the same access denied error, be sure to double check that you opened the command prompt as administrator and have permissions to do so. MECHANICALGURU
"Thanks" well my CC is not even recognizing the file path. And don't ask if I "Installed it correctly" because I've already "patched" the mod, but it STILL. WON'T. WORK.
