So recently started trying ot create companions with blackies CM from custom races, followed the guide through every thing through companions shows up/works fine suprising from me

But I have the slight issue of my companion mod still requiring the esm of the custom race file, I have no idea how to change its dependancy to the esp, Im currently using TES4Gecko 15.1 so really looking for some guidance on this, do I require wyre bash to do this or is there some way in Gecko as frankly the former confuses me greatly.

Sooo any assist for a still moding nub would be appreciated, Peace.

You cannot make one .esp dependent on another .esp, this is why .esm's exist. Although de-isolation is an option, it usually doesn't work too well when dealing with anything more complicated than shared cells since de-isolation requires specific changes to load orders which can easily be done wrong. If a mod requires a .esm to work, there's a good chance that that .esm is a .esm for a reason. The only real alternative to not using a .esm in most cases would be to merge data, but this can create more problems including form conflicts or duplication of items.
