Rooker75
Playing New Vegas again for the 1st time in ... well, since Skyrim came out. I'm a little rusty. I can't seem to get DarnUI working right. I have the new smaller fonts and menus, but not the stats (XP, karma, rads, DT, rad resists, etc) on the HUD. I don't have any settings option in the main menu either like it has for the Fallout 3 version. Was all that stuff never completed by the author or did I do something wrong? It was the first mod I installed (or 2nd if you count NVSE), so there can't be a load order issue. I changed the fallout.ini like it says, copied the files to the data folder and activated the plugin.
ma1025
You might have installed an older version of Darn by mistake. The multiple threads always seem to throw me off when I have to reinstall it too. I think this is the most recent Darn version in this thread. http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1135390-wipzbeta-darnified-ui-nv/?do=findComment&comment=16613076
Rooker75
The multiple threads always seem to throw me off Yeah, me too. I installed it twice before finally finding the right version for Fallout 3. Wish he'd just put it on Nexus for less confusion. I'm pretty sure I have the latest version though, v0.0.4. Downloaded from your link and reinstalled to be sure and nothing changed. NVSE is running, Darn is apparently running, just no new HUD stats or config menu. http://i.imgur.com/MVFeSoo.jpg This is my load order atm, but it was doing this even when it was the only mod installed. TheStrictNein
Search the nexus for 'Primary Needs HUD - pHUD' or just 'pHUD'. Download and install that, as well as 'uHUD'. Activate pHUD then uHUD, and, if you have MCM, you can turn off the Primary Needs display and just have the combat stats.
Rooker75
Thank you! That did it. gopher to the rescue, I guess. At this rate, I'll have every one of his mods installed. No menu for choosing which stats are shown, but I guess I can monkey with the xml config file.
ma1025
You can try oHUD which is pHUD, iHUD, and aHUD all combined together. MCM will give the option to show what you want. Also try Unified HUD if you need it, on top of everything else.
