Basically, when I ran the launcher, it didn't auto adjust the graphics. I click on Rendererinfo.txt and it still says this

Renderer Device Information:
NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GS
nv4_disp.dll
RenderPath : BSSM_SV_2_A
PSversion : 300
VSversion : 300
but yet, my GPU-Z says the version is 320.49
Don't get me wrong I have no idea what I'm talking about lol. I'm about to have a stroke o.o
Plus the website you provided wont search my system for drivers, keeps freezing up my chrome.
[EDIT] I removed the rendererinfo.txt than launched the game to get a new summary to see if anything changed.

It might be my monitor, it only supports certain resolutions, when I install drivers it gives me a problem. I'm going to try to re install these drivers, give me a moment.

There is a number of things that can effect this older game on new systems. in 2007 on the table, these systems did not exist. so , the software was designed for XP 32bit and x-box360. Ported from the latter and redone for the equipment at the time, what takes place, is the graphics are the key things here to keep in mind always. Direct-x dc9 was the animal used and Built on Nvidia cards. 2009 GOTY was released, but at that time, so was DFX. they changed out hardware on site and forgot the basics of Vanilla, the patch is suppose to correct this.

it does only to a point. here, all along, while things are going on, we, users are out here, making our mods based on the Vanilla 2007 soft wares.

On Brand spanked new systems never intended for this. so,l the data ,dds and nif files, BMP's and such and code within the esp and esm files are now and forever changed to what ever a person owns.

spaghetti galore. the d3d93d.dll < ---that right? is a modified fix for Intel chip sets.......get the picture now? and older chip set is in that fixed dll file, from Direct-x for Main boards, audio and graphics sets. New boards will run it, not all. Crashes are seen on most new systems.

Boy's and the ENB things. 1 single file and some instructions for these new machines are territories to tread lightly on. old game.

all the data you download are of this mix. the only thing that is guaranteed to a curtain extent to be compatible across the board is the source disc's

we have 2 retail PC, and steam. steams systems combine x-box and PS# data with PC data all at once, the steam installed on yor system is indeed a master of marvel of engineering. That software talks to a server, your client needs to connect to theirs, the other half of your screen problems lays there.

so, we can not exclude steams overlay when playing around with fallout games. you must make sure all data in it's catch is compatible with your system, as it is 64bit, and the games software is 32bit. so.............it brings us back to "what drivers do you have installed?

kitty.

My drivers were just successfully updated. "Your GeForce driver is up to date"

One step closer hopefully.

if you have a "system lock up while addressing graphics drivers? this is the reason for the back up because on windows 7, you must uninstall the present drivers first, when it boots back up, it should have the default windows drivers and not be detecting you video card in the display properties. you don't want to see it there. then you install the new drivers. Graphics drivers can't overwrite whats in use.

so basic display drivers are required, you should have enough space for a system only back up. if you wish. your monitor will choke on duality, as it is getting instructions to load two sets.

To be honest I loaded up my saved game fine. Before it would crash almost immediately, I even loaded to a new area, and alt-tabbed and went back in smoothly. No idea it will crash again but looks good atm, only problem now is that it takes 10,000 years to load. Any idea?

[EDIT oh i love edits] I'm going to try every retarded thing I can to crash it. lol

Well I can't say that it in particular crashed, but it froze up as I said earlier when I was nearing DC from the SuperDuper Mart

All in all though seemed a lot better.
