Marcus Wolfe
Alright, there are 3 ways my 5-6 year old computer crashes, and I've experienced them all in under an hour:1. Infinite freeze2. Screen goes black3. Restart without warning My headphones have been giving off some funny noises recently, and it's been only 5 days since we got it back from the computer whiz who fixed it's massive crash problem. He said it was fine when he ran his tests, it must've been a loose piece. What is the possible problem?
IamBatosai
PEBKAC. :P Well, what are you specs? Sounds like maybe the power supply is kicking out power for everything. Or something might be overheating.
bben46
The restart without warning points to a power supply. Or something pulling down the 5 volt supply. Give us some info on your computer. Is the power supply replaceable? or is it a proprietary rig?
Biblost
Do you also have trouble with starting the PC? In that case, it's most obviously the power supply, I once had the same problem too.
