the esp goes in the data folder, then you add meshes to the proper sub-folder in meshes, the same with textures

or you can use this utiity which will do it for you, allow you to set load order(very important the more mods you add) and notifys you of mod conflicts

If you have already extracted your mod, use drag and drop. drag the textures folder from the new mod and drop it into the Data folder, not the textures folder. Do the same with the meshes folder. If you already have a textures or meshes folder, you will get a message warning you about overwriting files - answer YES, it will not overwrite, it will append the new files. Then, if you open the textures folder, you should see a new folder inside with the name of the mod, and the new textures in it.

If you have not already extracted your mod, extract it directly into the data folder. It should automatically place the textures where they belong - not all will do this though.

Also, check the read me from that mod for special instructions.

If we knew what mod you are having trouble with it would help us to help you.
