farcry6 {MOD REQUESTS} A conversation about the state of this game

Hello Modders,

I would like to suggest MODs that I feel would save this game from the disastrously stupid choice of style the Developers seem to want to compound on every Far Cry release.

1) Can we please fix the FOV, not just the view model, no I mean the actual FOV. Even on 120 you are on triple zoom in. put your head forward in the game you will notice that you cannot see the ground until about 10 feet out, this is complete lunacy!! am I walking with binoculars on? FOV is not just about left to right, it's also about top to bottom. Do this in real life, stand up and look forward and put your arms down by your side, if you point your fingers forward you can see them in peripheral vision.. in real life when looking forward you can almost see your feet..almost.. but in the game even on 120 looking forward i cannot see anything in front of me for at least 10 feet. CAN WE PLEASE BACK THE CAMERA UP SO I CAN SEE WHERE I AM WALKING!?

2) Can we please lower and center the weapon view model? why is my butt stock in my mouth to the right of my jaw?

3) Can we please remove the downed Icon? why is there a big fat medic Icon hanging over anyone who sprained their ankle? I do not want this useless information smeared across screen.

4) Can we please have the dead bodies remain? Even after clearing a checkpoint until you leave the premise by a wide margin? Nothing.. absolutely NOTHING could be more unrealistic and passer than seeing everything you just did get magically erased, this is especially true in a game where everything is resolved by the chaos you unleashed, yet you are not able to witnessed any of it since the engine is constantly cleaning up everything you destroyed. What else is there to do in this empty franchise but to enjoy the carnage?..

5) Can we please have the animals do something else than to make it their life's mission to hound and harass me everywhere I go? every 50 feet I bump into a massive predator who hates nothing and none other more than me, I am constantly kicking the jaws of predators off of me.

6) can we please have new skins for our equipment? The choice of style is astonishingly bad, every piece of clothing feels like the cheapest wardrobe item from a bad version of an 80s Mad Max ripoff.I mean you look like a completely goofball, do the devs not realize that in the majority of these third world countries the rebel factions are often better equipped than the occupying military. What the military have in these scenarios is numbers, union and logistics that's how they are able to overwhelm any opposition. Does it offend the development team that I want to have pride in what my character looks like?. Are we not allowed to be professional and act accordingly?..

7) can we please have the option to save our game where we left off? Why is this even a conversation? that we would not want to be thrown in at a random place when resuming progress? that I want to feel like the chapters of this story's book are written by me since I am in control of its evolution.. That I do not want to feel like nothing I do matters since i have no real control of record. Does anyone in that development team understand the fundamentals of immersion and what captures people' emotion in story telling? I have to feel a connection to the protagonist!! I have to feel genuine implication in what I do and what happens next!!




THIS GAME SUCKS IN EVERY SENSE OF THE TERM! THIS FRANCHISE IS KEPT ALIVE SOLELY BY MODDERS WHO MORE OFTEN THAN NOT DO A BETTER JOB THAN THE DEVELOPERS. I FEEL SUCH GENUINE REMORSE FOR THE EXTENTS THAT THE TECHS WHO DESIGN THESE GORGEOUS MAPS GO THROUGH SINCE NO ONE WILL CARE TO NOTICE ANY OF IT BECAUSE THE MECHANICS OF THESE SOULLESS GAMES DO EVERYTHING IN THEIR POWER TO DISCOURAGE YOU FROM DOING SO. YOU ARE NOT IMMERSED, YOU ARE NOT CONCERNED, YOU ARE NOT IN CONTROL, YOU FEEL NO SENSE OF CONCERN OR PRIDE FOR YOUR CHARACTER, YOU HAVE NO ROOM FOR ANY REAL FUN SINCE EVERYTHING IS SYSTEMATICALLY ERASED, YOU NAVIGATE AROUND LIKE A MYOPIC TAUPE CONSTANTLY FLANKED BY SURPRISE AND TRIPPING ON EVERYTHING SINCE YOU HAVE NO PERIPHERAL VISION,

I MEAN IT IS DISASTROUS!!.. ANOTHER UBI RELEASE.. A GORGEOUS MAP BUT AN UNPLAYABLE GAME..

The paradox is that the only one out of place here is you since these forums are precisely created for feedback, complaints and suggestions. but there is always a little guy like you that shows up and virtue signals in hopes he gets noticed. Thank you for your input there buddy, we are all glad to know that you disagree with the feedback by posting your feedback which in itself constituted as no real feedback in any substantive way.
