Alright, so I have a few quest ideas. I completely suck at modding. Most I can do is take vanilla items and edit a few details (gold, damage, etc.). Besides that noda. So I was wondering if I could put up my ideas in full in an attached txt file for people to look at and decide on if they want to use the ideas. I'm not making requests, just putting up ideas for use. Only thing I ask for is my name in the credits for initial idea.

Not sure if I should considering most are probably busy with own projects. I just want to leave my ideas open so any modder can try to add to them.

The problem is that storylines, although they may be creative, may be totally impractical. The biggest limitation of any story is really dependent on someone being bored enough to spend the weeks trying to make all the game components working. There aren't many people around who can do quests with things like dialogue, and those that can are usually neck deep in their own projects.

 

If you enjoy writing, I'm not going to tell you to stop, or that your work might not be appreciated by those who are looking for good ideas, just that the chances of anything coming as a result of your efforts here aren't particularly large.

Alright then. I'll do a few hasty versions and if someone is more interested and willing to work on it I'll get into the finer details. I may start up a few threads on other mods and for questions about mod ideas I have.
