Ilyarra
Recently I decided to make presets for each female race (aside from orc - because I can't get them to come out right -, Khajiit or Argonian) and I loved the way they came out so much I thought I'd try and share. Problem is, I have no idea how to make it so you can just drag and drop the zip file into MO (or Vortex although I don't use that) and have it immediately show up when you go in game without having to place them yourself into the respective folders. I have searched and have only found how to actually use a preset in game, not how to take the presets I have made and make them available to others easily. I don't use nifscope, it's merely characters I created in game with Racemenu (high Poly heads) and a ton of mods.Anyone got a link to a walkthrough or want to take the time to help this old woman figure this stuff out? (I point out my age because I use it as an excuse for my extreme learning curve! ) Any help is appreciated.
Hanaisse
You just need to pack up the .jslot files you created. File structure should follow what's in your game files, so along the lines of; Your Mod Name Folder- SKSE - Plugins - CharGen - Presets all your jslot files here Zip that up and upload as a mod. Good luck. :)
Ilyarra
I tried that but it doesn't seem to be installing in the right place... but it is probably just user error. Thanks! I will mess with it until I figure it out. At least now I know I was on the right track.
Hanaisse
I've seen some people add a Data folder as their top tier folder, maybe try that? (I've seen mods with and without, and most mod managers already know to add files to the Data folder so it's not always necessary)
Ilyarra
Yep, I was right, user error. I had one of my folders misspelled. Thanks again for your help!
