Timed and sync controlling of powered objects

hello all,

my goal is to have the gambling machines from vault 88 on a timer, hopefully keeping the settlers at work until they are powered on

so this is what I've got so for

interval switch 1sec on 1sec off sending every 2 sec

( 3 )counters set to 5 ,sending every 6th

( 2 ) counters sending every10 sec

2x6x6x6x10x10=43,200 sec /12hrs.

sending to a ball track shallow switch with the ball being pushed via conveyor belt arm

( forgot the proper name ) which provides a "relay switch" effect of constant on then constant off for the 12hr. durations

my problem is I don't know how to sync it to say 8am to 8pm off then switch to on etc, right now it is running according to when each piece was programmed.

How do I make it start counting from a chosen moment for the full 12 hr. duration?

came up with an idea ...put a power switch before everything,

when the system "triggers" turn it off and then pass time

a lot of time ... until the game reaches the desired time and turn it on ( would only be off buy the amount of time you missing while tracking / passing time )

problems

does the game time it correctly when your not at that settlement?

will the settlers still try and use the gambling anyway?

when I attempted to do this waiting while seated didn't effect the timer...meaning day can become night without a sequence change

so I'm guessing this kind of "timer" is only good for manufacturing or other mechanical sequencing

From the other side any settlers seem to know time of the day very well, even if you fast travel or skip time waiting/sleeping.

So maybe there are some scripts or mods which could make the workshop recognize time of the day too for the building purposes.
