Panzerkatzen
I'm trying to make a simple Level List Injection Script by closely following The Rizzler's tutorial on the subject, but at 15:20 when he adds the new Script, I get an error saying "The parent script doesn't exist, please choose one that does". I have no idea what this means, I've restarted Creation Kit and the script is there, I've also checked FO4Edit and it's visible there too, so why does CC think it doesn't exist? I wish I could provide more information, but other than blind speculation, I have only an error and an apparent phantom script. I have searched the forums but the only other solution I've found (leaving Namespace blank) did not work. I have provided a screenshot of the error and window. Edit:I just remembered something significant that might be related. When I first installed the Creation Kit short of a fortnight ago, it prompted me with some error about scripts. I could not find information online about the error, so I dismissed it. Also could be relevant, I have Fallout 4 on Steam, but Creation Kit on the Bethesda.net Launcher. Panzerkatzen
I have fixed it. Acting on the second hunch I reinstalled the Creation Kit and properly dealt with the original script error, which was about some archive being updated. This time I hit yes, and now things work.
