Please, I am at a loss. My husband bought me a new gaming computer and no matter what I do I can't seem to install Vortex. I get a window that states my certificate has expired, a link that does not exist and a denied access if I try to hit run. I have done a web search but nothing has come up that is useful. I would greatly appreciate any help. I enjoy Skyrim all love trying different mods. As of right now, I can only play vanilla. Thank you-

What exactly is giving you the expired certificate error? A website you're trying to access in order to download something? If so, which URL exactly is it?
Also most browsers have a way to show you the security info about your HTTPS/SSL connection, that is which part of the certificate chain has run out.

Lately at work I've run into quite some websites of our customers yielding this expired certificate error specifically, because they were using Let's Encrypt as source for their SSL certificates and their root certificate has run out a while ago. They switched to a new one, also making their certificate chain shorter by one, but in many systems the complete chains aren't coming from the websites but are stored/cached locally in your OS, the websites only telling the parent of their individual certificate. I've already run into trouble with some systems/clients which stubbornly insisted in not providing any means to update their root certificate chains (well, apart from direct OS system file manipulations best not to be done by the faint of heart).
