DeltaWulf
This is a slightly strange idea I got while playing around with some of the werewolf improvement/perk mods, and I was wondering if it could somehow be possible to contract both the werewolf disease and vampire disease then have them function together when using the Beast Form transformation to give an altered werewolf, if only appearance wise at least and function totally differently at most.I know it's possible, through various other mods, to have items with custom wing meshes and things, so would it possible to create a werewolf skeleton/mesh/body that has a mixture of both werewolf and vampire lord elements? I was thinking mostly something like a primarily werewolf body with large vampire wings. I can't really think of anything distinctively vampire lord-ish that the werewolf doesn't already have (longer, pointed ears, fangs, claws/nails).Ability-wise, the best of both worlds. Powerful melee attacks, knockback, increased health/stamina, bestial strength multipliers for melee, Fear totem howls, and feeding on dead enemies to gain power from the werewolf side. The ability to hover and fly, cast blood magic while in hover mode, gain mist form, night cloak/bats from the vampire side. And maybe even vampiric grip in both melee and hover form (always castable) to emphasize the melee power of the werewolf.Considering how incredibly lackluster both are on their own, to the point that at higher level the werewolf transformation actually makes you weaker, it would be really cool to see a very powerful and unique transformation available later in the game utilizing the combined strengths of both sides. Can it be done and would there be interest in it?It seems the easiest way to do it would be to take the current vampire lord form, modify the appearance of it for the werewolf/vampire mix, and add werewolf abilities/change the melee functions since vampire lord has quite a few more abilities than the werewolf does, so you'd have less editing going on. Although, I don't know how you'd do that while also making it have the separate requirement of obtaining both lycanthropy and vampirism at the same time. I'm no modder though, so I'll leave that up to the experts. Edited August 5, 2013 by DeltaWulf
thenobody0
I don't know of any mod that lets you turn into a vampire-werewolf hybrid but this mod adds such an enemy:http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/23911/ It's also included in Immersive Creatures. DeltaWulf
Well, that's why this is in in the 'requests' forum, not the 'I can't find this mod' forum.Anyone know if this is would be possible to do?
thenobody0
Way to disregard my help. You were asking if it was possible to combine a werewolf and vampire lord so I pointed you to a mod that has such a model. Did you even look at it? What needs to be done is make that model a transformable form and seeing as there is a mod that allows you to become a werebear I think it might be possible. firepenguindiscopanda
skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/23911/ as far a i know the creator of this mod give the permission to use the model, so if anyone could make it playable it will be awesome.
DeltaWulf
The question isn't about the model. I already said I knew it was possible to create wing meshes and things, the question about the model itself was more or less rhetorical, the real question to that bit is if it's possible to make it function as a player character with the proper animations (not to mention flying and casting) and things. That usually requires a custom skeleton. The other question is, since there are independent werewolf and vampire lord perk trees (only available when you're in those forms), how would you get a combined tree offering each skill? I do know it's possible to modify perk trees and whatnot, but for this to work fluidly (i.e., without replacing one of the current trees and causing issues for anyone playing as a vanilla werewolf/vampire) you would need a third completely separate perk tree. Is it possible to add a brand new perk tree specifically for that form and make it active while transformed? Or are perk trees hardcoded in their limitations to the full tree as a player and the two specialized vampire/werewolf trees?
thenobody0
As far as I know it's not possible to add new skill trees, only replace them. Edited August 6, 2013 by thenobody0
firepenguindiscopanda
i think is possible, but i dont know anything about modding, sorry.
