Is it possible to completely remove the blocking action from the game?

I'm suffering from the bug that causes your character to block after certain actions. For me, it happens after staggering, jumping, sprinting and during VATs (which breaks VATs, sometimes consuming AP). The common solution is to reload to a save where the bug wasn't present and remove whatever caused it, but I don't want to remove any of the mods I have, and my earliest save still has the bug, so I'd have to restart entirely.

I've fixed the staggering issue by using a mod that removes staggering, because that whole system is quite annoying anyway.

I figured I could fix the problem entirely by just removing blocking from the game. I've tried Disable bare hands blocking or Disable all blocking, but while it does remove my ability to block manually, the automatic blocking still happens.

Is this solution possible? Perhaps shortening the animation may work? I'd really appreciate any help with this.
