jahgaminginc
Hey sorry for the newbie question but I've already asked and it still hasn't been answered, despite many modders already knowing how to do this still nobody has replied to help me out, and I'd like to release my patch / Update 2.0 soon. Do you just delete the old file and replace it with the new one? That's what I thought I'd do but I've noticed a friend in the Friend's Activity feed 'updated' their mod, it said '*Name here* updated their mod *name here*'So is there actually an option to update, a button somewhere to replace the file, or do I have to do it manually as aforementioned. Please help because I know lots of people know this, I'm sorry I haven't taken the time to write properly and make this sound better but I just need this issue resolving; it's getting annoying! K00L
Well, since I'm here I'll try to help. May not be helpful at all though. :P There is a way to update mods. I haven't messed with uploading anything in such a long while I forgot how, but you should be able to find a button or something somewhere on your mod's page. Unfortunately I actually deleted the two or so things I had uploaded so I can't even look to give you more specific information.Try going to Manage Files from the little drop down menu. You may be able to do something there. If not go to the mod's page and look around. Check the downloads tab and see if you can upload it from there. And sorry if this isn't any help! :P Like I said, haven't done anything with this for a very long time.Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will come along to help! blove
There is a difference between updated the mod description and uploaded a new file. Just upload your new stuff. Change the category of your old file to old file or delete it.
