Avilius Posted October 27, 2021 Share Posted October 27, 2021 How would you go about doing it, it's kind of like the "Save Cass" quest which allows you to progress Birds of a Feather without killing her. I'm not even talking full dialogue options, speech checks or anything, I would be just satisfied if the quests immediately progressed past the objective to kill House. sullyvanj93 Posted October 28, 2021 Share Posted October 28, 2021 Have a few options: Could make it as simple as creating a dialogue option that says something to the effect of "[Lie] Mr. House? He's already out of the picture!" Then have the dialogue script complete that stage of the quest. Or you could make it a speech check, with the same result. Or you could make it a bit more realistic, making the player go to Mr. House and strike a deal with him to print a fake obituary. This would be the most immersive and match with the dialogue vanilla NPCs will give you. But it would also be quite a bit more work, most likely chopping and screwing vanilla House dialogue to pull it off. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
