securitywyrm
Idea for a feature for thenexus. When someone downloads a mod and they're logged in, it remembers that they downloaded that mod. Thus when the mod gets updated, they can access a list of mods that have since been updated. If they didn't like the mod, they can just click off that they don't want to hear more updates for that mod. Curse gaming has a program that manages your world of warcraft addons, letting you know when one is outdated. Would require creating a main database and such, but it would be pretty cool to run a program and see if the updated version of any of my mods is available. buddah
Something wrong with the existing system? From a file page you will find a tab that says "Track file": looks like this: OptionsTrack file Vote for this file Report this file Contact the author Click on it and it will add it to you tracked files. From any file page on the site upper right, click on members: scroll down to the files area, and click on tracking center, will tell you everything you want to know about files you are tacking. There are some configurable options there to allow you to get pretty much what you are looking for. Take some time to explore and play with it to make it suit your needs within it's abilities.
