stebbinsd
As I've pointed out just a moment ago, I'm having to switch to PC despite having only the minimum specs. You guys were really helpful in recommending some mods in order to get the lag down (hopefully the performance should at least be what I experienced on consoles), but there's another problem: I'm also going to have to stay away from mods which reduce performance. Obviously, this includes mods that merely serve to add to the beauty fo the game world, such as Towns & Villegals Enhanced. But what else? Here are all the mods that I'm currently interested in. Would any of them cause the performance issue that I'm trying to fix to resurface? http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=10989http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/34224//?http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/26228//?http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/34612//?http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/36534//?http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/3863//?http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/3863//?http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/19833//?http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/2700//?http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=12864http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=80887195http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12709//?http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/31680//?http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/33201//?http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/14037//?http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/3413/?http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/9380/? DeltaWulf
All of the gold, price change, merchant optimization, etc mods will be fine, they should only edit base values in your game's files that are pulled up strictly for calculating costs and things (i.e. information only used in the trade window or shown with basic item information in your inventory) and are negligible towards any extra load. Those files would already be loaded anyways in the vanilla game, so nothing added.SkyUI should be okay as it doesn't really do much except modify some UI pieces and allow for additional settings for other mods. The mods that simply add new abilities or magic to the combat, like Midas Magic shouldn't really cause any issues. You may begin to run into issues with some of those mods that have lots of scripts if you have a weak processor. Some examples, I'd say, are the realistic hunger and disease mod, Duel, hunter traps, UFO, pretty much anything that's going to alter the way the AI acts or that brings new gameplay mechanics into the game. Not to say that any of those things in particular are very heavy on processor load or scripts. I'd imagine you'd be able to run most of those things just fine without many issues since that's pretty barebones. If you have a slower CPU, then script heavy mods shouldn't be used, or rather, only one or 2 of them. You seem to be going for immersion mods, so take a look at my guide, all are compatible (or were last I checked, need to update it.) However, again if you have a weaker CPU, than some of them wouldn't be a good idea.
