Problems re custom stores

I try to make a furniture for a store that uses anything but the default (vanilla) animation for that store. For example, I set a Bar to use AnimFurnClipboardWithPen anim.

But when I do that, assigned settlers not only refuse to enter the furniture, they don't even walk up to the store - just keep standing around wherever they were when assigned.

You can talk to them and they act like vendors, however.

When I set the anim back to AnimFurnBarShopKeep, everything goes back to working normally.

 

What's the problem there? Why this super bizarro behavior?

 

EDIT: I really don't get this. Homemaker does the same (using the ClipboardWithPen anim for stores), and it just works ????? WITAF, heh.

Solved the mystery: Object Bounds.

Why this doesn't matter with the BarShopKeep anim, only Todd knows.

Hmmm interesting...

Might solve my issue with making gutting fish and weighing fish assignable jobs...

Going to try it today on my new Egret mod...
