Weight in Gold

Ever since I first started playing Oblivion, I thought this game could really use a mod that displays an item’s weight in gold. I never mentioned it before on any forums but it still surprises me that no one has made a mod for this. Fallout 3 has been released now, and it needs a similar mod just as bad.

 

Basically what I mean is, on the inventory screen there needs to be another column (next to the value, weight, power and durability) that displays the items value in gold per pound of the said item.

I’ve often noticed that things like paintbrushes and other assorted “filler trash”, has a higher value per pound then many weapons. Which means on most of my gold / treasure hunts, I usually haul home a plethora of cheapish junk that weights next to nothing individually.

 

Doing all these divisions in my head becomes a bit cumbersome after a while and breaks up the flow of action, so this is why I think there needs to be an extra column that does this for you.

I would gladly code the mod myself, but the deepest coding I have ever done, is changing a few values around in a text file. Also, I suspect that this kind of mod would conflict with DarNified UI 1.3.2.
