Ainmhi Problems (no eyes,tail,or ears)

ok well i have rens beauty for awhile now and decided to get Ainmhi aswell ,so i downloaded it put it on my obmm, it went green so i was like yay...

but when i went to start a new game and the Ainmhi race didnt show up, so i deleted it redownloaded and started a new game again

the race showed up but with no eye/ear/tail. i am able to add rens hair on it and nothing was wrong with the mystic elfs

 

so i played around with the load order and the result was

 

mystic elf alone = everythings fine

 

mystic elf 1st = Ainmhi with no eyes/ears/tail

 

Ainmhi 1st = double the custom races ( 2 mystic elfs sets and 2 ainmhi w/ no eyes/ears/tail)

 

now this is my 2nd custom race mod and i have read about how multiple custom races messes with textures, but i dont know how to fix it so please help =/

Usually these kind of conflicts are caused by multiple beauty mods. Beautiful People is well known for this, especially in its earlier versions. Some custom races also have beauty enhancements built in and can cause conflict.

 

First, disable all of your beauty mods except for ONE custom race that you play, and see if you can get your character back. Then enable them one at a time, testing each one to see where the conflicts are. Then when you find them, try swapping the load order of the conflicting mods to see if that fixes it.

ok i swapped the load order and the only thing that changed is that if i put Ainmhi 1st i get double of the custom races, when i do rens 1st i get no eyes/ears/tail Ainmhi. if i do rens alone the game runs perfectly as it did b4, if i try Ainmhi alone the game wont start ( i assume its becuase rens is turned off)

 

also i checked out the reread me and it said this:

 

 

To use the Ainmhi Race mod with Ren's Beauty Pack, unpack the two included alternate ESP

files into your Data folder and enable only *one* of the two, making sure to disable

any existing ESP files from Ren's Beauty Pack and the Ainmhi Race mod.

 

well im noob so i dont know how to exactly do this plus im running vista so the normal steps to do this could be diffrent @.@

 

any other tricks to help make them work would be nice ^^,

After you get around the UAC problem Vista works just like XP.

 

To deactivate a mod, just click on the block with the x in either OBMM or the games data whichever one you used to activate the mod. The x will disappear leaving an empty block.

 

Unfortunately, some mods leave behind textures and meshes when their .esp file is deactivated. You may have to go into the meshes and textures folders and remove the folders for those mods manually. Easiest way - Rename the folder, use something you will remember, like add your initials to the name. That way it's easy to put it back if you find that one is not a problem.

 

First just try disabling the esp. Most of the time that works.

 

If you use OMODS, just click on the blue block beside the OMOD. it will turn green and the entire mod, esp, textures, meshes and anything else will be removed. Then to put it back, click on the green block and it will be reinstalled.

ok new problem, but it had nothing to do with messing with the .esp like u suggested , it happened b4 that... well lets just say i had to uninstall and reinstall obivion T,T and had to reload my working mods

 

i saved ainmhi for last and uploaded it with obmm, so i started a new game to see what happened and the ainmhi race wont even show up

 

i tried deactivating and reactivating it, still wont show , so i deleted it redownloaded and reactivated it , and still nothing :wallbash:

 

any way to make them appear so i can use your suggestions to give them there eyes/ears/tails =/

 

o and thank u so much bben46 for helping me out with my ainmhi problem hopfully i can finally get them with your help ^^

 

[EDIT] got them to show up again, still need eyes/ears/tail tho
