ClosingGap Posted March 5, 2009 Share Posted March 5, 2009 In my efforts to get my mod off the ground, i charged headlong into the land of dialogue with a guide (http://www.novazone.karoo.net/tut_merchanttutorialpart1.html) as my weapon. Unfortunately i've gone wrong somewhere, i've managed to get my NPC to offer his services yet this happens to every NPC; http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y266/frazzle96/ScreenShot3.jpg Any suggestions as to why "GREETING" has appeared? Sounds like you may have messed with the normal greeting dialog option, you should have made entirely new ones and make them specific to your npc using the conditions Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
sesom Posted March 5, 2009 Share Posted March 5, 2009 It´s no Problem to use a special GREETING for your own NPC. But it is necesarry to set a Condition for all Dialogues Topics, which are used by your own NPC only . Something like this: S GetIsId NPC:'JWQ01Paul' == 1.00 AND in the Conditions Field. If this is set also the Speaker NPC Field is updated in the Topic Info Box. Its easy todo: right click the condition field while your edititing the Topic, make a new condition and select as Function Parameter your NPC.
