someone willing to make a mod that increases the damage of the Assault feat, perhaps removing the damage penalty from each attack.

 

Or maybe someone can tell me if it's possible to mod Dragon age origins without using Dragon age toolsset, I can't get this program to work.

A few years later, there is one mod that brings something similar to your idea: Sword and Board - Talent Tweaks at Dragon Age: Origins. It removes the 40% damage reduction on each successful hit from the Assault talent, among other changes.
