Marawind
When one is updating existing files on TES Nexus, does the file being updated keep its download statistics?I know this is probably a silly question, but it would help me relax before taking the plunge if you know what I mean. lol.Et in Arkay Ego is updating from version 1.0 to 1.1 and I am a ball of nerves. Any information anyone has on this would be very much appreciated. Thanks very much.
Tchos
It's kept the statistics for me, even after I deleted the old versions, as long as it's still the same ID. BTW, I don't recall if I mentioned before, but I love the name of the mod, and the Poussin painting reference in the main pic.

That is awesome that you caught the reference! The fact that one of the gods in Oblivion was named "Arkay" was, well, too perfect given the story we wanted to tell. Our scriptwriter/visionary had been walking in the Colovian High Lands when he found the location. The mountains in the distance the yellow grasses. The land was just like that of Poussin's painting. Perfect!!! When I worked with the location and the painting reference and found the right angle... it kind of took my breath away (not that I had done it, but that it had come together the way it did). That was the first thing we worked on in game two years ago. The update we are now releasing has a few more unique items/scenes that have similar tie-ins to related artists, authors, and history (some recognizable, some more obscure). Thanks again for your kind words and excellent observation. :thanks: PS: I know you could take the screen shot yourself in game if you wanted to, but I would be delighted to send you the image that mirrors Poussin's Arcadian Shepherds painting. Let me know.
Tchos
Interesting! I assumed you had designed the landscape that way, putting a hill in the right place in proportion to the mountains and trees, etc. Very cool that you had found a place like that which already existed. :) I would certainly like the image you offer. Does it have NPCs gathered around it in about the same postures as the shepherds?

I made it the largest resolution allowed to be uploaded. :)
Tchos
Thank you -- it worked. :) I couldn't take a screenshot myself because at this time Oblivion is no longer installed on my computer. I may reinstall it, though, as I've seen several new quest mods released lately that I'd like to play, including this one. This one is especially interesting for not being a fighting quest. I think my character would be right at home in EIAE. ;)
Marawind
Excellent! I am glad it worked. And, if you do get a chance to play EIAE in the future, I would love to hear your feedback :)Thanks again.
