Vahmung Posted November 6, 2021 Share Posted November 6, 2021 So I have a conundrum that I need help with. I created some custom armor meshes and put them in-game using xedit and creation kit. Loaded them in bodyslide, changed the shape. Loaded into the game and they appeared perfectly. Played for awhile and then wanted to make them unique helmets as circlets. Did the same process, loaded in-game and nothing appeared. So I started messing with the files and the following time I loaded in, all of the armor was like this weird transparent shadowry body of the armor. This was two weeks ago. I have been trying to tweak different things and recreate my steps to fix the issue but I can't seem to get any of the armor to appear now, just a bunch of floating heads with custom weapons. I tried troubleshooting the issue by looking up several forums posts and such, still no luck. Does anyone have any particular idea what I did wrong or what I am missing? All of the armor is using vanilla textures, I had the armor working once but never again after implementing the helmets. Everything is the correct form 44, default race, all races listed, nif files are all pathed correctly... I am at a loss. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Sphered Posted November 6, 2021 Share Posted November 6, 2021 Might be some setting you changed in the nifs. If you dont see the models at all if could be your race isnt compatible. You have to make it compatible, which can be done at the race level aka Armor Race DefaultRace and make sure DefaultRace is eligible to wear said armor. If its settings in the nif, make sure the trishapes themselves are at root level and that the Root Node is NiNode aka not BSFadeNode or otherwise. Beyond that, you can try converting them to SkinInstances, and otherwise make sure there arent weird coordinates on the trishapes like position or rotation since that can affect visibility Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
