Mod to Increase Velocity of Non-Vanilla Arrows?

Hey all!

 

I was using Arrow Velocity for the longest time, but from what I've observed, it doesn't affect the velocity of arrows that aren't part of vanilla, as I assume the author modified each arrow specifically. I was wondering if there are any mods that modify all arrows (including those added by mods) based on their damage, and/or the damage of the bow, and whether this is even possible. I haven't found a mod that does it yet, so if there is one, apologies for posting a topic about it. ^^;

Essentially, the speed of an arrow is determined solely by its individual settings in the CS. Short of just going through every mod you have that adds arrows, and changing each one manually or creating something using OBSE functions that changes the speed of the equipped arrow type, it can't really be done. However, keep in mind that fast arrows can often just pass harmlessly through their target, so drastic changes aren't recommended.

 

As far as I know, no mod like this exists yet since each arrow would need to be equipped on the player before any effect could be applied, and trying to setup different speeds for different arrows might be rather challenging. Not the kind of thing people normally do when they can just alter those mods themselves.

Open up your CS and go to Ammo - weapons - iron arrow it has something named speed set at 1.0000 up it with 0.5000 save and try ingame your arrow flys faster with a Bow you draw and shoot faster.. (also look at speed diffrence with claymores and daggers then youll know how it works :P )
