Weapon Motion Blur

I downloaded this mod, it is absolutely awesome. Question is, is it possible to apply this motion blur to your weapon as well, like when you swing it/shoot it? This would pretty much make Oblivion feel like Crysis with some toned down foliage.

 

A mod like this could completely change your Oblivion experience. Anyone know how to do this, etc, could you just apply the shader to a weapon model?

As near as I can tell without opening up the mod, that mod simply makes use of the triggerhitshader function controlled by scripts which detect player movement and action, maybe with some .ini and environment tweaks thrown in to make it all work together. The triggerhitshader function gets less effective the higher it is, so having a fairly high setting will make everything blurred slightly.

 

As far as weapons go specifically, I don't believe this is possible within the engine. Weapons cannot have shaders on them other than enchantment shaders, and what you can do with them is rather limited to things like particles and membranes.
