Frt102
I've recently tried modding my Fallout 4 using vortex. It went well until after I rebooted Vortex. Now I am unable to see any new mods that I've download through vortex in game. I did a complete wipe with everything, uninstalled mods, Vortex, and Fallout 4. I reinstalled every mod and it went well, then the same issue appeared. But when I look in my Data folder I do not see the .esm/.esp of newly installed mods even though it says it is installed in Vortex and enabled. When I check plugins, I see it enabled as well. The only 'fix' i've gotten was manually installing mods, and that was the only way to make newer installed mods work. I am not good with manually installing stuff, and vortex makes it easier, so I am hoping to find a fix. For more informationVortex is installed in (86x) Program files, I recall reading another forum post that can create conflict, but I don't know if that is the case as I lost the forum post and the general context of it.Both Vortex and Fallout 4 are installed in the same drive as well. I currently have 86 mods total. The ones that were actually installed are running fine, but the new ones I added say their installed but aren't.If I did something incorrect with the installation, or if you need more information please let me know. Fixed - Vortex wouldn't accept new mods because I had outside changes with other mods files (I dragged body slide studio in CBBE ) It gave me a pop up to revert file changes or save, but I clicked skip. When the pop up came again I saved changes, and suddenly newly installed mods started working. Heres additional info that might help somehow - 16 gbs ram- 86 mods (as i said above)- windows 10- latest version of vortex (as mentioned since i reinstalled)- modding fallout 4 (as i said in title)
