Updating MHiYH to MHIYH 2Plus?

hey,

so after all there years of modding skyrim i just realised that there's is another newer version of this amazing mod

My Home is Your Home at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)

 

the only problem with it is there is no instruction on how do i uninstall it so i can upgrade to this version

so if anyone have a safe way to update on an existing save i would really appreciate it

I would read the posts on the mod page.

The safest answer is always remove the old mod entirely, add the new mod correctly, start a new game. That being said, IF you wish to take the risk as I did, (SAVE BEFORE ANY ATTEMPT!) the .esps are identically-named. I was able to upgrade from MHIYH to MHIYH2+ in mid-game without any issues, simply by removing it and replacing it with the new version. This only worked because the .esps have the same name, though.

Update:

i just uninstalled the mod and installed the new version and i have no problem so far, everything works great my 4 followers are still in their home where i left them.
