Sometimes though, it'd nice to use a sniper rifle at close range in TPP. How could one make a mod to accomplish this? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
dangman4ever Posted August 10, 2013 Share Posted August 10, 2013 (edited) If you actually want to be able to still zoom in closer with the scope and want the same or similar field of view of most in-game scopes, there's no way to accomplish what you ask. However, you don't mind losing the ability to zoom and having a rather narrow field of view (put a rolled up piece of paper and you'll see what I mean) or a similar FoV you get with 3rd party Holographic or red dot sights, then it is possible to do what you ask but it would require you create a new scope mesh. Then you have remove the scopes from the meshes of the guns you want to use.Then add in the new scope. More than likely you'll also need to add in a "Sighting Node" so that you can get the proper first person sight zoom.
