Big FPS drop after entering new cells

Hey

My problem is that when I enter a couple of interior and exterior cells, the FPS drops from a steady 60 to a choppy 10-25. The only remedy that I know is alt-tabbing the game which fixes it for a couple of minutes, but with the latest ENB this isn't really possible since it doesn't let the game be alt-tabbed. I know there are loads of topics about this, but I checked all of them and most of them were "solved" by telling people to alt-tab or restart their pc.

This is driving me really angry lately, especially that now I got a GPU upgrade and the FPS remains virtually the same because of this problem.

I'm using SuperRL ENB, HD texture pack from Bethesda and some 2K textures from the nexus, I don't think the mod load order is very important since I don't experience any CTDs and as long as I don't change cells, the fps stays constant. My shadow resolution is 2048, with 4096 the fps drop happens much faster.

My PC specs:

i5 2500k @4.5GHz

GTX 770 2GB

8GB RAM

Does anyone know a fix to this fps drop that isn't alt-tabbing the game every 10 minutes?

That's relatively common in Skyrim when you start eating RAM and VRAM. Remember, Skyrim can only use 3.2GB of RAM, and it has memory leaks. HD textures, high resolution shadows, and ENB all make Skyrim's memory handling problems worse.

Skyboost I heard is really not good to use now. It can cause major issues since the latest patches of Skyrim have been updated.

Try this for you texture mods http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12801/?

Also this http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/32505/?

And this http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/6387/?

There are youtube videos on how to use the texture optimizer.

I'm using all the mods suggested already since a long time, they are also updated to the latest version.

As for the ENB, the frame drops happen even if I completely disable and remove it, so I don't think it causes it. It only lowers the average FPS by 10-15.
