mostlyhuman
There are so many issues with adding and removing mods causing save game corruption that it would be nice to have a tool that will save all of your quest progress data, your inventory items, character configuration and stats (perks, upgrades etc) then you could change your mods as you see fit, start a new game and then use the tool to update the quests, reload your previous inventory and restore your character stats where you left off, which are the most important parts. Of course previously killed NPC's would be back in the world on a restart doing it this way, but setting the quest stages to where they were left off would still allow the quest lines to continue. It seems like most of this is available through console commands so it seems like it would just be a matter of reading the current states of the character, inventory and quests and then using batch command lines to restore everything back (player.additem, setstage etc). pheo3309
I think this would be beneficial. Especially having saves that are specifically for testing. I hate using my own saves for it.
