PeterTran
So I'm editing an nvse script in geck, and I am using the geck powerup. For some reason, it just refuses to save. So I start over with the original working script, make a silly change such as adding in an extra space between two lines, and try to save, and it refuses to let me do that. I can't edit scripts at all, what can I do about this? I can save scripts just fine if they don't use nvse though.
jazzisparis
You need to launch the GECK/Powerup via the nvse_loader.exe in order to enable NVSE support. This is done by creating a special shortcut. See the last paragraph under Installation on this page.

cooperton
Klatu Verada Nic(achoo). Thread necromancy baby. So I'm having this very issue, and the directions on the page don't work. I don't have the loader for the editor included in my nvse file. I redownloaded and the new one also doesn't have the file... so.. um, whats up with that? Fallout2AM
There's no separated loader for the editor, you should simply create a shortcut and edit it, adding -editor at the end, like this: "C:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Fallout New Vegas\nvse_loader.exe" -editor
