Juranas
Hello, So I just downloaded the Creation Kit and did my first mod: a follower using one of my character's faces and Jordis the Shield-Maiden as a template. I followed the directions here (http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Adding_a_Follower_NPC_to_Skyrim) to the letter (spawned her in the WinkingSkeever and added that building's faction to her faction list), but I have three issues: A: If I address dear Kithari in the middle of that odd drinking-from-a-tankard animation, she will agree to follow me and not go anywhere. Come to think of it, any time she enters that animation she never seems to stop. I found that my sprinting into her will disrupt the animation, and life goes on as normal; it's just a little annoying to do that every time. B: She doesn't seem to know how to go home, no matter how many times I subtly cough and comment on how late it's gotten. Seriously. I dismiss her, my follower count goes to 0, the dialogue to recruit her returns, but she doesn't return to the Winking Skeever where I set her to spawn, she just loiters wherever I dismissed her. Kit's been at my house for almost a month of ingame time and shows no sign of leaving anytime soon. C: The character she is based on is a spellsword using 1H, Heavy Armor, and Restoration (highly overpowered btw). I want my follower variant to do the same: 1H and Heavy Armor were no sweat, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to have her cast Fast Healing and Heal Other in combat. I added the spells to her spell list and gave her a fresh new Class featuring the above skills as all 3's, but no dice, she just equips her 1H and no spells. How do I fix these issues? Further Info:She is set to be marriageable; haven't tried that yet, but when I equipped an Amulet of Mara the right dialogue options appeared. Her head had the wrong skin color; applied the fix the tutorial detailed and that worked perfectly, issue gone. This is in fact my first time modding anything, so if something wasn't explained in the tutorial I didn't touch it.
