timberjoey
I don't know if this was a thing before the AE update as I had never unlocked my framerate prior. However, I have both followed all the .ini fixes and also tried the havok mod. I have tried both 144fps and unlocked fps. Character NPCs animate correctly but walk very slowly from point a to point b. I have no other issues. Is there a fix for this? It's certainly playable, but also comical to see a character's animation working at full speed but traversing along the ground at what has to be 1/3 speed. kakapants420
This might be a new problem. I had 144 fps running perfectly prior to AE and now I'm stuck in the same situation as you. Hopefully someone knows a way to fix this.
screamline
Same problem. NPCs animate correctly, but they don't move -- as in, from one map position to another -- at the correct speed. They look like they're half-walking, half-sliding. Prior to AE I had put hundreds of hours into SSE with high-refresh monitors and unlocked framerates, and never saw this problem. I've tried adding a couple different move speed mods to my load order; no help. Really baffled.

long88
Hi to all, I have a solution for nVidia users. Just set vertical sync on "Adaptive" in NVIDIA controll panel setting for Skyrim. Works well for me.UPD: And set fps limit - 100 fps.
