dvdmchenry
My New Vegas is crashing on every mod that requires the NVSE. I have it installed correctly and it is in: (Program Files x86/Steam/SteamApps/common/Fallout New Vegas) I have tried "2b12", "3b2", and the zip hoping that the docs might have been incomplete but none of them worked. Is this due to Windows 8 not being compatible with NVSE? I have all of the files that were zipped in the the NewVegas file with the FalloutNVLauncher.exe I have tried uninstalling everything and starting over. Please Help I got the SKSE to work so I am not sure why this is not. Posted a pic of file location hope this will help you to help me. dragonlolz
can you run FNV without NVSE? because if that isnt the case you first have to find a way to get that working.
ma1025
I don't know anything about Windows 8 but I heard that Windows 7 had problems running Fallout if it was installed to the Program Files directory. Try installing everything outside of there (like to C:\Games\_________) and see if that helps.
dvdmchenry
The game runs just fine on its own and with normal nods (ones that don't require NVSE) and if I run no mods and NVSE it will run just fine, as soon as I turn on Underwater House or New Vegas RTS/defence mods it fails to even make it to the copyright screen let alone the main menu before it crashes. TheStrictNein
I have heard rumours of problems with Windows 8, but nothing I can substantiate. I'm gonna sound a bit patronising here, but are you using the nvseloader to boot NV and are you sure it's running in game?
