It would be good if we could have a mod where Preston and co. start in Sanctuary so we don't need to do the gimmicky power armour and deathclaw setpiece every time we start a new character and want to do the Minutemen questline.
It's cool the first few times you see it, but then just becomes repetitive and time consuming every time after.
Thanks in advance if anyone decides to make something like this, or if someone can point me to a mod that already does this.

I don't recall an alternate start with Preston and company meeting you in Sanctuary. There is a solution that avoids you waiting for someone else to make you a mod. If you have used both male and female characters, you'll need to do this twice. Start your game and play through to where you guys meet in Sanctuary. Then preform a clean save. That means exiting the game just before you talk to Preston in Sanctuary. Now restart the game and still before talking to Preston, Do a manual save and give it a unique name so you can find it in the game save files while not playing. Copy this save and store it where you can find it later. If you do this, you can remove and reinstall your game and have this save file ready to put back into the game, even a year later and your first scene will be meeting in Sanctuary with Preston. It sounds complicated but only requires the time it takes to finish Concord. You never have to do it again. And it doesn't require a mod. Remember, it's important to exit the game and restart it before doing the manual save. That way you won't get a corrupted save file. I hope this helps, and Happy Holidays.
