You arent allowed to anger the wisewoman, since she is VITAL to the main quest, and you arent allowed to purchase the item from her. She wont sell it with the barter command, and (even at disposition 100) she wont actually sell it, no matter how many times she says "...that's why i'm willing to sell it to you"... IS this a bug? Or am i not doing something right... (BTW, this isnt the ONLY urshilaku located quest that doesnt work right, is there something wrong with the setting of the urshilaku camp?) Malchik Posted September 23, 2004 Share Posted September 23, 2004 I have no problem getting her to Barter it at any time (it's the fourth in order BTW, Caldera, St Olms and Maar Gan come before.) It sounds as if you have a conflict somewhere but it would have to be with a mod. Are you running any mods that might impact on the Ashlanders? Interestingly even if she does sell it, she always has it to sell again - a little bug there for sure! Try pcjoinfaction"ashlanders" and see if that helps. Crim, The Red Thunder Posted September 23, 2004 Author Share Posted September 23, 2004 okay... yes i am using another mod, (about 25 other mods as a matter of fact... mostly small ~10kb mods though...) its the one where you have to collect the 5 daedric longswords for the smith guy to empower the blank sword... i had a bug with that one too, but i thought it was because i was 'conjuring' the items through the console, without leaving the hut. Afterword, the sword was not added to my inventory, nor could it be picked up anywhere in the hut... i hadnt tried to go back yet...) Second, i am a hearthfriend (clanfriend?) of the ashlanders, and am, in fact, in possession of the 'moon and star' ring. (Hilarious to wear that in front of ordinators while speaking on the subject of 'nerevarine'... or with people who say "I dont believe you are the nerevarine..." but i digress.) I have been named nerevarine by the urshilaku tribe, could this be interfering? (I can finish this quest FAST since i already ran across 3 others in my travels, just by doing other quests!!!! i still hate the punabi/sulipund quest though...) Finally, if all else fails, can it be SAFELY stolen if i am at chameleon 100%? (since it's a quest item, i dont know if she will still notice...) Thanks for the info!!! Malchik Posted September 24, 2004 Share Posted September 24, 2004 It won't matter if you anger her once you have finished the quest to become Hortator and Nerevarine. She has no real input to trials six and seven. And AFAIK she tells you everything about trials four and five at the same time if you ask her. Also you can add it via the console if something is causing buying it to be bugged. Off hand I can't tell you the specific ID code but TES will have it.
