So I've been working on a mod that adds onto the game's worldspace (WastelandNV) and I've done so by building into the edge of the map that would otherwise be closed off by invisible walls and mountains- this is a short distance from Nipton. Well, I've been having an issue in-game where as I am trying to go into the area that I've built into, I am seeing terrain lod that doesn't disappear after approaching it and is otherwise an eyesore. This is my second mod and first time editing the worldspace, so I am very amateur -- how can I fix this? Images provided for the in-game and GECK visuals. The only thing I can think to do is regenerating lod in the GECK, but I would like to avoid that (I've tried FNVLODGen, it didn't fix it) since it apparently takes forever to do. I have looked through the forums and found similar questions, but they seemed to fall on deaf ears. Maybe I'll be the lucky one to receive an answer? Thank you! A wiz! I think I'm in love! Thank you, zilav! I was so worried I'd need to readjust the terrain to cover the lod, but no- I only needed to follow the guide. To anyone who might go down my same path, follow zilav's link. It works. I didn't even need to regenerate trees or objects, doing only terrain worked just fine and really didn't take long at all.
