The tatooine mod only could have been considered a infringement of copyrights if the graphics were directly copied from any of the movies or copyrighted products.

 

so there is no copywrite on all the aliens ships and buildings?

if we only use the items that has no copywrite that means, no wookies, no xwings, no c3po and no starwars.

 

or do you think we should create our own aliens and try to create a starwars atmosphere?

I think that what he means is you can't steal models from another game or rip textures from a movie. I also doubt that LEC has any copyright on the ships or aliens(If some movie came out with identicle aliens in a non-sw setting, imagine the chaos)

 

Anyway, it's like I said earlier nobody really cares. Does Microsoft care about Halo mods made for other games?(As surprising as it sounds, they don't.)

 

Edit: Since C3PO is a character, it's probably different.
