SkyUI: problems with favoriting spells in groups

So I've been troubleshooting this for 2 or so hours and I can't find a solution

First of all, I switched the hotkeys for groups to 1,2,3,4,5 etc.

group 1 is simply my bow, and I have no trouble switching to that.

I want groups 2 and 3 to equip a spell and shield (healing and summoning spells respectively if it matters)

the shield equips fine, but instead of getting a spell in my right hand, all I get is unarmed. I've tried selecting and unselecting relevant options and messed around trying to get this to work but I can't.

I have both expansions, script extender, and a few other mods, but skyUI is the only UI mod I'm using.

I hate needing to open a menu to switch weapons/spells/shields, it kills the flow of combat for me, so fixing this is extremely important.

1h weapon/spell works fine, and dual casting sort of works (need to press the hotkey twice to get both spells out)

i have the same problem, i can group anything but spells, if i place a spell in any group and press the hot key nothing happens. bows shields armor and weapons are ok

Hi, i have the same problem i try to make skyui on the top of the mod list but it don't work. :sad:

This worked flawlessly! So happy right now!

 

Just use the Dual Hand combo hotkeys above your 8 normal SkyUI profiles. Simply use the SkyUI hotkeyd profiles for armor and weapons, and for the profiles you want spells on: select the spell in mind via the Dual hand mod and set it to activate on the same hotkey as your desired SkyUI profile: PROBLEM Solved!
