That has a snippet (actually a single paragraph) about Cyrodiil in the 4th age.

'Current' events is generally contained in conversations within Skyrim its self. Cyrodiil is largely mobilizing for war, which is the main reason why most of the Legionaries in Skyrim are locally recruited Nords. There have been some problems in some cities in Cyrodiil, such as Bravil and Skingrad (as explained in Cicero's journals) with unrest and the skooma trade, but things are mostly in hand and the Empire is marshaling to renew the Great War. One book in particular is the "The Great War". It can be found in most book stores in Skyrim, or read here http://www.imperial-library.info/content/great-war .

in Morrowind, it's mostly about reconstruction. Redoran is now in charge, and Hlaalu has been expelled from the Council. The Tribunal Church still exists, though the Tribunal are now Boethia, Azura and Mephala. The capital has been moved from Mournhold to Tear, Vardenfell remains largely uninhabitable, and the Dunmer are in the process of reclaiming and rebuilding the southlands. Interestingly, both Telvaani and Dres survived the Argonian invasion, despite being the primary targets of the An-Xileel, and remains two of the Great Houses. Nothing is mentioned of the Ashlander tribes.
