Ive tried on my own since its fairly easy to add a child hair into the Hair Style menu of any Race in GECK, but the catch is that the hair doesnt fit the head mesh. Hell, hairs gigantic and i honestly dont know how to export it to NifSkope or Blender to scale to fit. Im still kinda new to modding itself so any suggestions/ replies are welcome.

Thanks!

It's an egm file, there are some tutorials for making one, if you want to take a shot at it.

Oh yeah just found a useful tutorial about creating your own hair and explains how to create the egm file and import to GECK. My last concern lies on wheres the location of the children hair files, cause i havent seen em in characters/meshes so im not sure how i can get to import them to Blender to do the scaling/egmin'

Are you sure, I see a bunch of them in the meshes.bsa. meshes\characters\hair\hairchildf01.nif to hairchildf06.nif, then hairchildmbase, curly, short, so a total of 9 or 10 tagged as hairchild. Plus their egm's.

Later i realized i had to extract the nif within the meshes.bsa file, so i finally found it lawl. But of course, since im bad luck brianna, now i cant get blender to recognize the nif scripts and cant import.Ill keep retrying, im on my seventh pack reinstall. Wont give up haha. Thank you for the help =)

I can save you a ton of trouble there, do a search on oblivion (and probably the FO nexus as well) for portable blender. It's a great little package, all self contained (and I mean all of it ,from python to mid scripts). It's what I use, and until they update nifscripts we can't use a more current version of blender anyway

OBTW got a quick question for you, and I'm sorry if this is obvious, but it's tough to know your skill level/experience in this area. Did you fit it to the adult head nif, and get it setup the way you like it before you generated a EGM file for the new hair.

What i did was creating an oblivion nif for the hair so Conformulator can recognize it and as for the head ive used headhuman.tri (male adult head). But come to think about it havent fitted the hair on the adult head mesh, reason on why its not working. Thats something i should do on Blender right?

Im new to all this as you can see, just really wanted to use that hair. Thank you for your patience really =)
