FireCulex Posted November 20, 2021 Posted November 20, 2021 I was updating 26 Skyrim mods. A few changes were made outside of Skyrim which I thought was odd, but I always clicked the default option save. Then it said missing masters and redudent mods. Upon closer inspection, right clicking the mod and going to file contents showed empty directory. Some had directories with no files. • Deploy mods did not work• Purge Mods did not work• Reinstalling Mods did not work• Uninstalling then Reinstalling worked Continuing my game revealed I had to check 26 mods manually and uninstall then reinstall. Once it got stuck because of changes to FNIS data and the buttons did nothing, I had to terminate the exe. and it constantly asks me to restart because of updated extensions. 1.4.16

How do I know anything outside the mod's I updated wasn't touched? Do I have to uninstall/reinstall all S.T.E.P. mod's to be certain nothing is missing? Or is this unlikely? I guess im asking if there's an easy way to verify compressed archives with whats extracted even if its just filenames.
Guest deleted34304850 Posted November 20, 2021 Posted November 20, 2021 honestly, i cannot follow what you're asking.
FireCulex Posted November 22, 2021 Author Posted November 22, 2021 honestly, i cannot follow what you're asking. Its probably best to nuke everything and start over to be sure nothing is missing.
