Blue Laser Energy Weapons

Hey guys,

 

It is possible to create another set of laser energy weapons (laser pistol, laser rifle, gatling laser) with "Blue Laser"? (something like http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/43044/?)

 

The weapons is same as the original but it replace with blue laser, and the weapons is compatible with the original laser weapons mod.....

Definitely. I think a fair number of people have done different color lasers. I'v done it in a OWB expansion for both protectron's and turrets (pic);

and a replacer just swaps out the pertinent assets, like the nif for the beam, the impact set etc. I'll see if I can grab the assets from my mod and make one up after I finish a request re: limb damage and hardcore mode.

OK here is the replacer (well strictly speaking the beam and muzzleflash are a replacer, the impact set isn't). Just unzip both files (esp and bsa) into your data directory and select in your launcher of choice. Note I may not have gotten every laser weapon with the impact set, so if you see a blue beam & muzzle flash on a laser weapon, but the actual impact point is red, not the name of the weapon and I'll edit it. Also as you can see in teh pic below I missed a bit of vertex coloring on the beam so there is a strand of red in there;
